Fighting and preventing flea infestations

I'm sorry, but flea control via spot-on treatments ARE certainly available over-the-counter. Advantage, Frontline, etc. can be found at any pet-supply store.

Caring for your senior dog

I'd love to see an article like this focused on natural / homeopathic medicine. I have a 12 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever and I almost lost him last year as a result of medications prescribed by several vets. When I stopped listening to these vets and began cooking human food for him, along with natural pain & preventative remedies, I literally saved his life. Feeding people food to dogs

I don’t feed my dogs people food because even if a certain ingredient is in their dog food, it may only be a small amount and too much might not be good for them. I’m not a dog nutritionist so I leave it to the experts and only feed a natural dog food I can trust with ingredients I know are good like real meat as the first ingredient and also with blueberries, garbanzo beans, etc. in the mix. Dog allergies

my 13 1/2 yr old cocker has a very bad cough and seems to be having trouble breathing at times, but the cough is loud dry and sounds painful. She also has developed many 'age spots' and skin tags. Having a hard time thinking maybe it's time to have her 'put down'. She eats fine, but pees alot and on my carpet.
