homemade diet for colitis?
My adopted herding dog mix was diagnosed with colitis. He's on a special diet from the vet, and it seems to be helping somewhat, but it's been several months and he's still showing symptoms. I'm thinking about switching to a home made diet. Anyone had any success cooking for a dog with colitis?

healthy kong stuffing
I fill Gemma's kong with reduced fat peanut butter and put her in her crate before going to work. It keeps her busy while I'm getting out the door. Before she used to whine and whimper and I could hear her while I was driving away. This works great, however she is a small breed and is gaining weight and it has to be the peanut butter. What is a good treat that she'll like and won't get overweight eating?

When to switch dog foods?
Hello everyone, I have a 10-11month old Western White Highland Terrier and we've been feeding her California Natural Lamb and Rice formula, Puppy formula because the breeder we got her from fed them that and said she had good sucsess with it. Food costs
I want to keep my dog on a premium diet, but dog food prices keep going up. I wanted to know from someone who makes their dog's food at home how much it costs per week to feed them.

Yorkie is a Picky Eater
Abby is almost 7 months olds, weighs 4 1/2 pounds. She will hardly eat anything unless I hand feed her. She's not crazy over hard puppy food so that's why I started hand feeding her. I don't see how she exists on the amount of food she comsumes and I worry about her. I'm wondering about mixing her hard food "Iams' puppy food" with Little Ceasars canned food. She does however have 3 good size BMs a day.
Any suggestions?
