Why a Boston Terrier?

My family is trying to convince me to get a Boston Terrier. I have never seen one. Are they "yippie", high strung dogs? They sound good on paper but I need convincing (or not). Please help!

I am a Boston Breeder -Ask away...

I have had Bostons for going on 20 years. I am also an Animal Care Specialist. I have worked at an animal care hospital for many years. Some of the characteristics of the Boston on this site I feel to be incorrect. I have extensive knowledge of this breed.
