Dog Reacts After Owner Repeatedly Touches Her Paw

Rage-baiting your dog is easily in the top five most entertaining things to do as a pet parent. Hazel is a “wiggle butt” from Los Angeles who is usually dramatic. This Australian Shepherd is the star of @hazel_thewigglebutt and loves her lifestyle. However, even a comedy queen like her needs a break. The clip starts with her just trying to relax on the bed. She is fully splooting with her hind legs spread out, and she is focused on the TV. But the dog’s mom keeps touching her paw in the video.

Dog gets rage-baited by owner in hilarious video

Mom is sitting right behind her on the bed, and she apparently can’t help herself. She softly tickles the fur on one of the dog’s paws. Hazel retracts it instantly, then she looks over her shoulder with a massive stare-down. It’s like she’s saying that it was not funny. However, her other leg is still sprawled out. Next, the pet parent waits a few seconds and touches the other one.

It becomes clear that Hazel is not going to trust Mom not to do it again, which is why she shifts her upper body a little more towards her. She is now properly glaring at her mom. It’s that look of “I dare you to do that again,” as a viewer pointed out.

The video cuts to a calmer moment later. Or at least it seems calmer. Her paw isn’t fully sprawled anymore, but Mom reaches out anyway, which makes Hazel jump immediately. Moreover, she is completely done with the games. “And mom says I’m the annoying one…” the caption says from Hazel’s POV.

The video of the pet parent not leaving her dog’s paws alone has over 303k likes, as of the time of writing. One viewer joked about the look in her eyes after the second tickle. Yet another person admitted that annoying their pets is their favorite hobby. Someone else mentioned how Hazel was just trying to watch some TV. It’s funny how some animals react dramatically to physical touch, but we just can’t stop annoying them in a harmless and funny way.
