Nothing truly compares to the unconditional love of a mom. It is no different when it comes to their pets. This video captured an instance of an adorable XL Goldendoodle mama dog named Ida not moving one bit after her two little baby puppies fell asleep on her paws. Last month, @fabulous_doodle took to Instagram to post the video, which has since gone viral.
Mama dog doesn’t move because her little babies fall asleep on her paws
A heart-melting video on Instagram showcased a mommy Goldendoodle, Ida, being absolutely attentive towards her little babies. The clip showed her not moving even a little after two of her pups — Baloo and Winnie — fell asleep on her paws. The video has been winning hearts on the internet as people can’t get enough of the mama dog’s unconditional love for her puppies. The caption of the post read, “Now that is one dedicated Mama Bear,” and rightfully so.
The Instagram video was reflective of the same moment. Ida sat calmly with her five puppies sleeping right by her side. As the clip went on, viewers could notice Baloo and Winnie sleeping right on top of the mama dog’s two paws. Ida did not want to disturb their naptime and chose to stay still until they woke up on their own. Now, that is a love of a mother.
The caption further shared that Ida had not moved for 40 minutes, fearing she might wake up her newborns. The uploader called her “the sweetest Mom ever.” They also pointed out Ida’s motherly instincts, inviting viewers to notice how she looks at the pup and the owner. Eventually, the uploader helped the mama dog by moving the pups, “so she could stretch her legs for a bit.”
The video will melt one’s heart and brighten up their day, which is why it’s no surprise the clip went on to garner over 125K likes.
