Help! Need wide gate for small chihuahuas
Does anyone have a positive experience with dog/baby gates for wide areas? We need an effective gate for a space up to 51" wide. Our chihuahuas are quite tiny, about 3.5-4 pound and could squeeze through most gates. Everything that looks good is online, not in the stores. Any suggestions?

Eating blankets???
We have a 13yr old Chihuahua that seems to have a rather odd behavior. She chews holes through fleece blankets. She actually had to have surgery to deal with a bowel obstruction as a result of this behavior. We have tried bitter apple & a couple of other sprays & she seems unaffected by them. We keep our bedroom doors closed & there are on throws on our furniture anymore. What I want to know is WHY would she do this & how can we stop her? This behavior has now been going on for about 3yrs.

I have a male Chihuahua, he is 2 months old. Very active and playful, cute, happy personality. He is Chocolate brown with fawn and white and has very pretty eyes. What should I name him? Any suggestions?

Stubborn baby canine teeth
I have a 10 month old Chihuahua and during her last vet visit I mentioned she still had her baby canines. The vet recommended I have them removed w/ anestetics soon. The day before her appt. I went to clean them and one had come out, probably after rough play. I called to cancel the appt. and the receptionist told me to let her chew on hard raw hide stix, then I told her she's had those since she first had teeth. T... (continued)

feeding
Can someone tell me how much to feed my 4.4 pound 4yr old Chi that I got last week?
I now give him a 1/2 cup twice daily dry food with a treat or 2 a day and wonder if that`s correct.

Can anyone help
My husband and I have a 2 yr. old long haired chihuahua and we love him very much. We have tried feeding him dog food. We have tried 4 different kinds of dog food and he just won't eat any of it so you make his dog food. I got some real good recipes from the internet and he is eating it fine but his poop is sticky. Is there anything that I can do to make it normal? I don't know why it is like that.

2 Chihuahua mixed in one cage, with alot of things going on.
I have 2 chihuahua's mixed with jack russell as my dad claims and I was wondering if putting 2 puppies in one cage is a good idea, and I'm using a medium sized kennel that is roomy enough for both of them. Mona (girl) whines alot when I put them in the kennel and chuck(boy) doesn't whine or bark at all but when I confine them in the kitchen, they want to come outside of the area and I don't know how I should approa... Long lived breed
I had a long haired Chi for 17 1/2 yrs, and she was used as a live doll for my daughter, wearing doll clothes and being wheeled aorund in carriage, plus sitting at child's play table having tea! She loved riding in car and just say want to go for a RIDE, and she was at the door. Loved to fly, in her little carry on, sat in her own carseat/bed during travel, and loved being a lap dog.
