A senior shelter pup named Scotty is breaking hearts after a reel from @brodys_buddies showed him trying to return to his kennel. The video, shared one day ago, explains that “Scotty was surrendered after living in his home for 10 years.” He is now at Somerset Regional Animal Shelter in Bridgewater, New Jersey, where he appears scared, confused, and desperate for safety.

Instead of relaxing outside, Scotty turns toward the door and tries to go back in. He stands close to the door, then sits in front of it. Another moment shows him pressing near the entrance, as if the inside space feels safer than the walk.
