It is a little bit hard to believe that a pup as sweet as Moxie is still looking for her forever home. This rescue dog from @wagsandwalks has been returned twice, but she is still wagging her tail, as can be seen in this video.
She first arrived at the rescue over a year ago, when she was pregnant, and gave birth in the rescue center’s founder’s home. Families adopted all of her babies long ago, but now it is finally her turn to find a place of her own. A new video explains why this four-year-old rescue dog is still searching for her person.

Moxie thought she had found the perfect family after her puppies left. Turns out, she is the kind of girl who loves playdates but hates roommates. She gets along with other pups at the park, but she definitely wants to be the only pet in the house.
That is pretty relatable for anyone who likes their personal space, but this became the reason she was returned the first time around. She just needs a home where she can be the star.
Her second attempt at a family didn’t stick either. The adopters promised to let her open up at her own pace. However, they ended up being a bit too impatient for her sensitive soul. She can be a little slow to trust new friends at first.
However, once she feels safe, she becomes the most loyal companion you could ever ask for. This video shows the rescue dog soaking up the sun and looking totally ready for a real commitment.
Moxie is currently spending her days playing fetch and posing for the camera. She has a very beautiful and steady tail wag. One fan noted that a return says nothing about a pup’s actual worth. She is gorgeous and clearly ready to meet her soulmate.
