Trying to walk one city block with a dog who knows everyone usually turns into stop-and-go chaos. And that’s because there’s always someone he needs to say hi to. In this video by @pino.the.corgi, it becomes pretty obvious that Pino manages his walks like a local politician. At each stop, Pino happily soaks up attention. As a Corgi, he may not move very fast, but that doesn’t seem to bother him — he takes his time stopping for neighbors, friends, and even a few objects that catch his eye.
Corgi is busy meeting friends during walk in video
The video starts with Pino practically leading his human on the leash, looking like he’s running late for a very important appointment. His first stop is a quick “henlo” to a giant inflatable Halloween cat on a neighbor’s lawn, but the real action starts when he spots a buddy coming from the other direction.
Pino goes into a full-blown sprint, rushing to meet his friend for a very thorough sniff-session. However, the meet-and-greet doesn’t end with the four-legged crowd. Once he’s finished greeting his dog friend, he turns his attention to the human — because pets are clearly next on the list. Also, he doesn’t hang around hoping for a pat. He flops right over and offers his belly like it’s the most natural next step.
His human actually joked in the caption, asking, “Hoomans, do you think I’m an Extrovert or an Introvert? Drop E or I in the comment.” The answer is a resounding “E.” He lies there “lobing” the love until his “tail is recharged,” at which point he’s back on his feet and zooming off to find the next person to charm.
With over 35k likes already, the internet is collectively obsessed with this “Very Important Pino.” One commenter joked that “every Corgi is looking for a new owner” when belly rubs are involved. And watching Pino shamelessly demand scritches from a stranger, they might be onto something. Judging by how much happens on one walk, this seems to be the most important part of Pino’s day.
