This Dog Does the Opposite of What Dogs Do When It’s Walk Time

Dogs are often fond of walks, but what happens when they behave the opposite way? In this Instagram video, a Golden Retriever named Ollie was not in the mood for his “everyday” walk. Like a human, he struggles to get out of bed and ignores his owner’s constant requests. The pet parent keeps asking him to get up and go for a walk with his dog dad. Meanwhile, viewers seemed to have a good laugh while watching the clip. They found the on-screen dialogues hilarious.

Dog has to be forced to go on a walk with dad in video

In a cute dog video on Instagram, a Golden Retriever named Ollie has to be forced to go for his morning walk. It begins with the pooch comfortably lying on the bed, hugging a plush toy. His dog mom uses her gentle voice and says, “It’s time to get up, sweet boy.” She reminds him of the time and mentions that it’s getting late.

Furthermore, the woman tells the lazy pooch that he has to “go on a walk with daddy” and that the latter is “ready for” him. Despite her efforts, Ollie doesn’t move a muscle. Through an on-screen text, her inner thought reads, “Does it look like I’m ready for him?” He looks at his dog dad and puts his head back on his pillow.

Seeing this, the dog mom tries to convince Ollie to leave the bed, as he has to get his exercise for the day. In response, the Golden Retriever supposedly takes a dig, saying, “So u already went to the gym then??” As many attempts fail, the dog dad finally approaches the fur baby and scoops him out of his cozy place.

Meanwhile, Ollie’s expressions and his interaction with the pet parents in the dog walk video have entertained viewers. One user quipped, “I don’t blame him,” while another commented, “Duke would rather sleep!”

In the caption, the uploader has mentioned that Ollie “fights it till the end,” but has the “best time” when he’s out. The video has garnered over 11K likes at the time of writing.
