Video shows Dwayne Johnson’s dog pose with him for GQ
Dwayne Johnson’s dog Hobbs is as comfortable in front of the lens as the star himself, with the duo recently appearing on GQ Magazine’s cover. The actor was the first 2024 Men of the Year cover star unveiled by the magazine. He talked about his latest works and his experimentation with trying out a new kind of movie. However, Hobbs stole the show during the cover shoot as he expertly posed for the camera.
In a behind-the-scenes clip, The Rock could be seen lying on the ground, posing beside his canine companion. The actor broke into laughter as the photographer gave Hobbs instructions to bring his “chin down a little.” They were quick to note that the pup looked really good on the lens, with the next slide being a magazine cover of the Frenchie as the cover star. The headline read, “Dog of the Decade Issue,” featuring Hobbs, “the goodest boy in the room.”
In another video, Dwayne Johnson’s dog rated the pats of everyone at the shoot location. While most got a 10 on 10, he especially loved the “gyatt check,” giving it a solid 11 on 10. However, the best pat went to “head pillow,” where he acted as the pillow for The Rock.
Johnson’s fans are well aware that his dog isn’t a fan of walks, but he loves spending time with his dad at the gym. Hobbs loves playing with the weights, with The Rock often sharing photos of the same.
