Glen Powell is gearing up to step into the role of managing his rescue dog Brisket’s acting career. The actor recently revealed the upcoming plans for the furbaby, a Terrier Poodle mix, dipping his paws in the worlds of television and film. Brisket is already a star in his own right since he previously joined Powell for stunning magazine cover shoots. The Hollywood heartthrob has even taken his sweet rescue dog to several movie sets.

Glen Powell recently got candid about his rescue dog’s plans to pursue an acting career. He could not hold back his excitement over accompanying his furry baby on press tours. During an interview with PEOPLE, Powell revealed that Brisket is gearing up for “making a cameo” in the actor’s two upcoming projects this fall — comedy television series “Chad Powers” and the sci-fi film “The Running Man.”
Powell added, “Brisket will be on the press tour with me doing his own junkets, I’m sure.” It’s safe to say the actor is looking forward to hitting the road with his furbaby for promotional events. Powell and Brisket striking a pose on red carpets together will surely melt hearts.
The sweet rescue dog entered the actor’s life in July 2023. At the time, Powell took to his Instagram to share the happy news. He wrote, “It’s a ruff world out there,” and added, “So I thought it was about time I hire a proper bodyguard.”
Powell adopted Brisket through The Labelle Foundation, an animal rescue based in Los Angeles. The star thanked the non-profit organization for making him a “dad” and for “all the incredible work” they do to “advocate for dogs.” Powell ended the post by writing, “I can’t wait to tackle all the adventures of life with this guy!” Clearly, the duo has been having the best time together since.
