In moments of profound loss, even the strongest among us find comfort in shared memories. For Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the loss of his beloved dog, Hobbs, has left a deep void. The wrestling legend and Hollywood star recently took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news, leaving fans touched by his candid emotions.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson writes heartbreaking tribute after Hobbs passes away

In the Instagram post, Johnson revealed that the French Bulldog passed away peacefully in the night. Posted on February 25, the emotional tribute featured a series of touching photos and videos that captured the special bond between the actor and his canine companion. Johnson opened up about his grief, admitting he felt “numb over this loss” yet profoundly “grateful for every ounce of pure love” Hobbs brought into his family’s life. He also expressed a hope that Hobbs might “come back and visit every once in a while so we can get in trouble and laugh again.”

The moving tribute also featured a video of Johnson lying on the floor beside Hobbs, his head gently resting on the pup’s back. Not only that, other photos included an adorable Polaroid picture of Hobbs and a tender moment captured with the dog resting his paw on Johnson’s arm. These snapshots of their time together resonated with fans who flooded the comments section with messages of support and empathy.

One fan shared their own experience, writing, “I had a pied frenchie like Hobbs.

Losing mine was a tough one. Sorry for your loss uce!” Others echoed similar sentiments, expressing their sorrow for the actor’s loss and reminding him of the love Hobbs experienced during his life. “I’m so sorry for the loss of your family member. I’m sure he’s watching over all of you,” said one user.

Hobbs was adopted alongside his brother, Brutus, by Johnson several years ago, and Hobbs even starred in Johnson’s 2019 film, “Hobbs & Shaw,” a “Fast & Furious” spin-off. While Brutus passed away shortly after the actor adopted him, Hobbs enjoyed a longer life, becoming a cherished part of Johnson’s family and appearing in the movie with him.
