Kiko the Toy Poodle on TikTok is melting hearts with his video of trying to learn a new trick. The pup is already a star on the platform and boasts over 17K followers. However, one particular throwback clip has gone viral and racked up over eight million views at the time of writing. In the 18-second video, baby Kiko can be seen learning how to high-five, but falls while trying to put his paw up.
The second attempt shows Kiko managing to reach the hand. He does so with all his paws and ends up rolling over. Nevertheless, he enthusiastically jumps back up for another try. Poor Kiko fails again on the next attempt but manages to earn a treat with his cuteness.
As the video went viral, several users rushed to the comments section to gush over the pup’s efforts. One joked, “He was still learning his settings.” Another wrote, “I hope the pup doesn’t think falling backward is ‘high five.'” In reply to that comment, the TikTok creator revealed that Kiko “learned properly eventually.”
The follow-up video shows Kiko the Toy Poodle finally learning the high-five trick. The caption noted, “Kiko got so much love from that throwback video…hes a big boy now!” The new clip shows a grown-up Kiko perfectly executing a high-five. As many viewers were surprised over how big the pup was now, the TikTok creator shared in replies to one of the comments that it has been a year.
