Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee pulled a Dachshund — colloquially known as a “wiener dog” — from his pants during a performance in Los Angeles last week.
Lee claims the dog was unharmed, but neither the length of time the dog was stuffed in his pants nor the loudness of the concert are ideal conditions for a pup.
‘Want to See My Wiener?’
The incident comes after Lee posted a full-frontal nude photo on his Instagram. Instagram subsequently took down the post for violating community guidelines.
Lee referenced this post in a short speech before asking the crowd if they’d like to “see [his] wiener.”

Tommy Lee and Animal Rights Activism
While the controversial rocker has been a part of many a scandal, he has always been a proponent of animal rights
For this, he has ex-wife and animal rights activist Pamela Anderson to thank. Anderson introduced Lee to animal rights while the pair were together. Since, Lee has appeared in PETA ads and been a vocal critic of SeaWorld. He is also a vegetarian and routinely trashes the meat industry.
His history of animal rights activism makes the Dachshund incident that much more bizarre. We hope Lee doesn’t pull the stunt again in the future.
