Taylor Swift has impacted millions of music fans’ lives with her tunes over the years. Now, the Grammy Award-winning singer is using her influence to better the lives of cats and dogs, too. The 33-year-old musical icon recently made a “generous” donation to an animal rescue organization and in its honor, several pets are being named after her songs.

Taylor Swift Song Titles Make Great Pet Names

Williamson County Animal Center in Franklin, Tennessee, announced on Tuesday that it “recently received a generous donation from legendary singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.” In a tribute to the legendary artist, the shelter decided to name several adoptable pets after her tunes.

“While all Swifties know Taylor loves cats, we hope she won’t mind that we named our newest adoptable puppies after her songs: ‘Carolina,’ ‘Bejeweled,’ ‘Midnight Rain,’ and ‘Willow,'” Williamson County Animal Center wrote in a Facebook post.

Two of the mixed-breed puppies, Midnight Rain and Willow, have already been adopted, but there are two other 3-month-old, black-and-white female pups that Swifties can snatch up.

There are also several cats bearing the singer’s song title names, a no-brainer given that Swift adores her three felines, named Benjamin Button, Meredith Grey, and Olivia Benson.

Animal Rescue Cautions Swifties Against Impulsive Adoptions

As much as the agency wants to encourage animal adoptions, however, it also cautioned potential adoptive parents enticed by the Taylor Swift connection to take a beat before committing to care for a new pet for life.

“Please take a moment to consider if your family is ready for the significant commitment of adopting a puppy. Adopting a dog can be one of the most rewarding decisions you get to make, but it’s also a significant life change,” Williamson County Animal Center wrote the Facebook post.
