Blind Shelter Puppy Refuses To Let Hardship Define Her, Has So Much Love To Give

Disabilities cannot prevent canines from spreading happiness. A recent post on social media has captured a courageous and heartwarming story of a dog. The video follows a loving blind shelter puppy named Raisin Bran who is waiting for adoption. A page named @bigdogranchrescue took to their Instagram to share this heart-touching reel. Raisin Bran’s story is sure to leave you inspired while bringing tears to your eyes.

Blind shelter puppy with a heart full of love waits for someone to give her a chance

The shelter’s volunteer, Jordana, appeals for the blind puppy’s adoption as the two spend time together. The kind lady softly pets the fur baby while narrating her life story. She shares that Raisin Bran is a 7-month-old pup who was born on the ranch with eight of her siblings, all named after cereals. However, Raisin Bran is the only one left to be adopted and has been patiently waiting for her chance.

The volunteer describes the pup as playful and affectionate, who will do anything for a peanut butter. Unfortunately, the pooch was born almost completely blind, which might be a reason for people being skeptical about adopting her. However, the unique aspect is that when someone understands Raisin Bran, they realize she doesn’t feel she is missing anything because she was born blind. As such, she explores the world with curiosity and playfulness.

The dog has zero fear, and her other senses are quite acute, which gives opportunities to be creative with her training. Jordana wishes that Raisin Bran would find someone who understands that her disability makes her both different and special. The canine is looking for a safe, caring, and cat-free home with an experienced adopter. She is sure to spread sunshine in the lives of the family who give her the love, respect, and guidance she deserves.
