Being carried into a rescue should mean a puppy is finally somewhere safe, but this little guy does not seem to know that yet. He arrives sitting in a basket on the front seat of a car, then looks extremely sad when a volunteer picks him up and holds him close.
In the video by @petrescuesolutions, the abandoned rescue puppy has a wagging tail but barely any expression, as though he’s about to cry. Even after reaching the rescue facility, he continues crying from his kennel, lifting his little snout and calling out without knowing what comes next.

The puppy arrives at the rescue in a basket on the front seat of a car. A volunteer reaches in and lifts him out, but he keeps making those soft, sad cries. His tail wags when she holds him. His face, though, still looks unsure. She keeps him close for the camera, giving viewers a look at his little face. He does not seem to understand where he is or why everything around him has suddenly changed.
The next clip shows him inside a kennel at the rescue facility. He continuously cries there too, lifting his snout toward the ceiling before letting out another round of whines. He eventually gets up and moves along the metal gate, still trying to figure out what is happening.
The organization explained that he was another abandoned puppy they simply could not leave behind, even while the organization was in the middle of relocating. They said they were taking him to the vet to get the care he needed.
The video has received more than 14,700 likes, with viewers immediately asking people to foster or adopt him. One person suggested he might need another puppy around for company. Another thanked the rescue for taking him in and said he should have no trouble finding a family. And that turned out to be true. The rescue later updated the comments to say the abandoned rescue puppy was adopted.
