If you are planning to keep more than one dog in your apartment it is important to have dogs who are not only good apartment dogs but who also get along well with other dogs. Breed is not the only factor in determining whether a puppy will become a dog-friendly adult, good apartment puppies who are not taken from their mother and litter mates before 6 to 8 weeks of age and who socialize often with other dogs and puppies will grow to be dog friendly adults.
