A Golden Retriever wants the same treatment as a human baby. This Instagram video shows an adorable dog named Daphne comfortably lying on her owner’s lap. Behind her, the pet parent’s baby lies on one of their chests as the parent helps the little one burp.
It seems Daphne notices it and wants to be treated the same way. Therefore, the owner pats her back as well while the other person does it to the baby. Meanwhile, the caption reads, “She’s gotta be included in everything [laughing emoji].”

In a funny and cute dog video on Instagram uploaded by @thegoldendaphne, a Golden Retriever wants to get burped just like the baby. The on-screen text reads, “When your golden has to be included in everything…even being burped.” Then, the clip shows the new parents busy with their two children. One is Daphne, the pet; the other is their newborn.
Daphne seems to be treated the same way her pet parents are treating the baby. In the video, the dad holds the little one closer to his chest and gently pats their back to help the child burp. This is a common process parents have to do after every meal with their baby. So, this case is no different! However, it is still unique.
It shows the family dog sitting on the mom’s lap, expecting her to do the gesture with her, too. The dog mom complies and pats the pooch’s back, mirroring her husband’s movements. This brings a happy expression to the Golden Retriever’s face.
