The clip shows a Golden Retriever named Gus enjoying a jet ski ride with his dad, just as he did when he was a little baby.

What makes the clip especially memorable is what comes next. The video cuts to footage from 2024, when Gus was still a young puppy. Despite the significant size difference, the setup is nearly identical. The puppy version of Gus is sitting in the same spot at the front of the jet ski, with his dad steering behind him.
Aside from Gus’ considerable growth, very little appears to have changed. His posture, his confidence, and even his preferred place on the jet ski all look remarkably familiar. The owner pointed out the similarity in the caption, writing, “Not a thing has changed.”
