As per an old clip on social media, the owner of the adorable pooch passed away. But despite this, she is hopeful to find a new forever home soon after adoption.

Scott Corbett, who works with “shelters across Chicago,” recently shared an adorable clip of a rescue dog named Sherry who is up for adoption and looking for a forever home. And it seems Corbett was instantly smitten by the energy and walking style of the 4-year-old Beagle from Berrien County, as he could not stop smiling and laughing after looking at the excited pooch, who loves treats.
“I’m one of the chunkiest beagles you’ll ever meet with a nose that never stops working and a tail that reaches full speed anytime the bum scratches start,” Corbett mentioned about the pup in the post, before adding that her “owner unfortunately passed away” and she is now “looking for a new place to call home.”
“Until then, I’ll be outside conducting backyard sniff patrols and using my little howl bark to remind you I absolutely deserve another treat,” the dog lover voiced for the pup. And it seems the pooch’s antics were not only loved by Corbett but also by netizens, as they beelined in the comments section of the post to share their reactions. “Obsessed with this diva!!,” said a person. While another added, “Oh my dog!! Even her tail is chonky! She is adorable!!.” A third individual added, “She’s too cute. I just want to cuddle her.”
However, it seems the pooch has finally found her forever home a few weeks back, as a person informed, “I would like everyone to know that we adopted Sherry Baby! She has already been a wonderful addition to the family!.” The news left Corbett happy as he replied its “the best news!!!.”
