Shelter Dog Was Once Just a Kennel Number, but His Story Says So Much More

This Instagram video shows a shelter dog proving that he is more than just a kennel number. Named Tiramisu, the one-year-old pooch is hoping to find a forever home before it’s too late. He has been overlooked for a long time, but has still been expecting someone. According to the caption, the fur baby didn’t even have a name for the first month at the shelter. He went with his kennel number. Over the months, Tiramisu has proved that he can be a wonderful pet in a home. The uploader requests that online users find the pooch a permanent or foster home as soon as possible.

Shelter Dog proves he’s more than just a kennel number

In a heartbreaking dog video on Instagram, a shelter dog didn’t even have a name for a month at the kennel. He has been overlooked by people for various reasons, but he seems to have proved them wrong. The clip begins with a quote saying, “We want a puppy,” and the response is that Tiramisu is just one year old.

Then, the volunteer mentions another request on the screen. Some want a “housebroken dog,” and Tiramisu proves how long he can “hold his pee.” Furthermore, another demand states that they want a “playful dog,” and the pooch shows how he enjoys playing fetch and running. Tiramisu has learned a few commands and tricks and loves to “give kisses.”

“He has a good amount of energy and loves to play! He’s still only a year old so he could benefit from basic manners training and impulse control! He is non reactive to the dogs around him,” the caption reads.”

Meanwhile, viewers have left comments to boost the post so that the shelter dog finds a home soon. A user commented, “Such a cute face. Can anyone open their arms and give this sweet soul a safe place to land? Praying for his safety. He doesn’t have much time. Can’t adopt, please consider fostering.”
