Internet Contributes To Give Dog the Best Christmas Present

Two Labradors enact the sweetest holiday tale. In a festive canine clip, a black Labrador named Ollie wears gold-framed reading glasses and narrates a bedtime story beside a glowing tree. His white brother Tato listens closely. The video also explains why one pup always found his name on ornaments while the other never could. Eventually, the holiday-themed dog reel, which has garnered over 89.6k likes, doubles as a thank-you note and a reminder about community.

Dog gets his own Christmas decor ornaments with his name from internet in video

Shared by @good.boy.ollie, the viral reel opens on day ten of the dogs’ Advent Calendar. This Christmas video shows chocolate Labrador Ollie donning gold-rimmed spectacles and a red sweater, reading a Christmas story while white Labrador Tato sits under the lit tree. The caption reads, “The most special story.”

With Alan Silvestri’s “Polar Express” soundtrack in the backdrop, the video starts the story with how shops stocked “Ollie” ornaments, but never “Tato.” As this made Tato sad, friends worldwide stepped in and mailed ornaments with his name worldwide. The clip was filmed at home and in local aisles, then edited into one cozy narrative.

On screen, Ollie announces, “The story begins long long ago.” Text then reads, “There once were two brothers.” We see “The handsome chocolate brother” finding his name while “baby Tato’s name was never on a thing.” Ollie adds that Tato was given a stand in Christmas name, “William,” yet “there was still some sadness in his little heart.”

Then the plot turns. “Friends from the internet came to Tato’s rescue,” the captions say, as paw print ornaments arrive. “One by one, ornaments arrived from all over the world,” and a dedicated Tato tree fills up. The Dog Christmas video closes on a gentle message about belonging. “You may have moments where you feel different or alone, but somewhere in the world will be a community that will show you that you belong.”

Meanwhile, reactions leaned toward tearful and grateful. “Why do you have to make us cry today, Alex,” wrote one, praising the “screenwriting” and “editing.” Another said, “Oh my goodness the most beautiful story I’ve ever heard.” A third cheered, “Aww what a lovely story for Tato, well read Ollie.” Moreover, one fan added, “This is my favourite Christmas story.” Another admitted, “Today you brought tears to my eyes.”
