PANCREATITIS IN DOGS
MY BEAUTIFUL 10 LB. 3 YEAR OLD SHIHTZU (PIPPI)HAD PANCREATITIS A FEW WEEKS AGO. SHE SPENT NEARLY 3 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL. I WAS BESIDE MYSELF. THE VET DIDN'T KNOW HOW SHE GOT IT. Pro-Stop harness WARNING
has anyone else had a problem w/this product? my dog developed a swollen joint right where the leg straps are positioned and developed a bursitis in the joint as a result. i would caution against using this product when i contacted the Company..they told me the leg straps can be moved- but they show only the one position on their box & insert and gave no other indications or warnings :(

hmm...this is a great point that I haven't totally though of before. There really are a bunch of things we do with our animals that muck up the environment. I do have to admit though that I really love the items at www.jakesdoghouse.com because they are so fun for dogs. I especially love the gourmet treats. It makes me feel like I am giving back just a little bit of the joy that the dog gives me.

Make sure that the water bowl is yellow because the dog or cat will try to remove the sulfer out to play with it. It will last for years because it has to melt in the water and it will then go into the blood stream and protect the animals from fleas and ticks.

As I have said before what we used to use for fleas and ticks and I sure it is still around is called sulfer cubes or sulfer pills.
Many years ago you used to be able to buy Sulfa-Dog in the grocery store but the vets didn't want that to happen so it was pulled off the marget the fleas and ticks don't like taste so they simply don't jump on the dog or cat and it great for their skin.

My puppy accidentally ate chicken bones...
I have an 11 week old Siberian Husky and she just got into a plate of chicken buffalo wings. She ate four of them including the bone. I know they're not supposed to eat bones so is she going to be ok? Should I be worried. She's acting normal, in fact, she was more upset when she was disciplined than anything else. Please advise; if I need to take her to the vet I will definitely do so! Thanks so much in advance!
