I disagree with one thing. Do not ask your vet about what to feed your dog. They are not trained on nutrition. Learn how to read a dog food panel. Compare ingredients. Your local pet supply store should be able to help with this better than your vet. Beware of online oppinions. Remember dog food companies will all tell you that their food is the best. Feeding people food to dogs
I don’t feed my dogs people food because even if a certain ingredient is in their dog food, it may only be a small amount and too much might not be good for them. I’m not a dog nutritionist so I leave it to the experts and only feed a natural dog food I can trust with ingredients I know are good like real meat as the first ingredient and also with blueberries, garbanzo beans, etc. in the mix. My dogs don’t do well with grains so we feed Alpha (natural balance) but each dog is different.
