bathroom breaks for dogs?
QUESTION: How many times a day should I give my dog a bathroom break? ANSWER: The answer depends on whether your dog is housetrained or not. If he is, try to give him bathroom breaks at least four times a day--as soon as you both get up in the morning; around lunch time; in late afternoon/early evening, and; at the end of the day just before you both go to bed. Keep in mind that a "bathroom break" is by no means the same as exercise. To be truly fit and happy, most dogs should get a minimum of a 30-to-60-minute workout (free play, running, a brisk walk) every day. |
