Crypton Eco Friendly Collars and Leashes (5 biscuits)

Our take: Both the plant, the manufacturing processes, and the fabric that goes into creating these sturdy leashes and collars are certified "green" by several organizations. The company even offsets their carbon footprint with energy credits.

In addition to being spectacularly green, the leashes and collars are thick and strong enough to hold up when your dog spots a marauding squirrel, and the company says they're resistant to stains and odor. And if your dog flops into a mud puddle or rolls on a dead fish--you can throw them in the wash and keep on using them.

Cost: high
