This is the incredible story of two soldiers, Derek and Jake, and a service dog named Gabriel that will tie them together forever. While serving for the U.S. army in Afghanistan, Derek helped save Jake’s life during an deployment which ended up injuring both soldiers. Derek passed away in 2013 but in a twist of fate, Jake was granted Derek’s service dog through a nonprofit called 4Paws for Ability (4pawsforability.org). Watch as Jake meets Gabriel for the first time!
