October is Pit Bull Awareness Month, and it’s a great time to share some positive stories of Pit Bull type dogs.
Most Pit Bull parents can tell you that these pups are so full of love, and with the right training, they’re capable of just about anything. In October, help fight the bad reputation these dogs get by spreading positivity.
We’ve found some of our favorite videos of Pit Bulls that show just how adorable, sweet, and amazing these dogs are!
1. Leader Of The Pack
The little girl in the video above keeps six Pit Bulls in line and waiting patiently while she gets their dinner ready.
The pups follow her command closely, holding for the okay from their tiny human.
Finally, it’s time to dig in to that sweet food pile. That’s some great self-control!
2. Interspecies Besties
Sharky is friends with all of his animal buddies, no matter what species they are. He’s got a cat friend, a guinea pig pal, and a little bunny that he showers with doggy kisses.
The gentle pup seems to love snuggling up in a cuddle pile. The big guy is so happy, he’s ready to take a nap.
3. The Silliest Sleeper
Izzy has one of the goofiest sleeping faces ever. He’s got his tongue out, his eyes half closed, and a quiet, little snore.
When he comes to, he seems a little embarrassed to be on camera in that state. He looks at his human like, “Hey, you’re not gonna put this on YouTube, are you?”
We’re glad he did.
4. Frisbee Fetcher
Bootzilla has a great story. After being found in a box in the parking lot of a Wal-mart, this pup has grown into an amazingly well-trained disc dog.
She can do flips and amazing leaps as her trainer tosses frisbees left and right.
She looks so excited and happy to perform. What a talented pooch.
5. Part Of The Flock
Mercedes is so happy to investigate her new little duckling friend. The pup puts her head down nice and close and doesn’t even flinch when the tiny bird gives her some pecks.
Mercedes seems a little confused, but she’s content to give the fowl some sniffs of friendship.
6. Learning To Walk The Walk
Bandit the puppy hasn’t had his shots yet, which means he and his pack are getting exercise in the home gym.
The cute little guy just wants to walk like the big dogs, but he can’t quite get the hang of staying on the treadmill. But he looks like he’s having a good time as he tries to keep up.
Such a cutie.
7. Spider-dog
The pup in this video must have some springs in his legs. Once his human lets him go, he takes off like a rocket.
He manages to climb the 14-foot wall like he’s Spider-man before getting some help on the landing. After all, it’s a long way down.
This pup’s skills are amazing!
