An eight-week-old German Shepherd puppy named Kobe apparently decided that whatever his older furry sibling Zana could do, he could do too. The tiny pup’s first attempt to copy her by climbing onto the couch ended in an adorable tumble, but his determined expression suggested he was already planning another try.
German Shepherd puppy tries to jump on couch just like big furry sibling, but takes an adorable tumble
The video begins with Kobe relaxing on the floor while holding a toy between his paws. He watches the area around him before turning his attention toward the nearby couch. The text overlay sums up the puppy’s motivation: “He saw Zana do it once and got way too confident.” Kobe then walks toward the couch and tries to climb up. His small size and young age make the climb harder than it looks, and he struggles to do what his older sibling just did.
The puppy eventually slips back down, but the fall does not seem to stop him. Instead, Kobe keeps moving around the couch, as if he is trying to figure out what went wrong. Kobe’s owner explained the adorable behavior in the caption: “8 weeks old and already convinced he can do everything Zana does.” At his young age, the German Shepherd is still learning how to use his growing body. Seeing an older dog do something successfully can make it look easy, and Kobe seemed to think he had learned the trick after watching Zana do it once.
The puppy’s determination quickly won over viewers, who found his attempt adorable. One user wrote, “Oh my gosh, that’s so cute!!!!!” Another commented, “AWWW omg that was adorable.” One viewer jokingly encouraged him with, “Just warming up, bro.” Another wrote, “Those ears need to tune in. You’ll get em next time, buddy.” Someone else admitted, “He’s so precious I’m crying.” Another viewer perfectly captured Kobe’s apparent thought process, writing, “That look was totally, ‘Oh, I can do that.’”
