Livvy wasn’t about to wear her new bathrobe without making sure everyone in the house got a proper look first. Posted by @livvy_the_golden, the video shows the Golden Retriever trotting from room to room in her new pink bathrobe, looking both confident and bashful. She keeps her collar tucked in her mouth, flashes the sweetest little smile, and even spins around so mom can admire the full outfit. Every time the attention gets to be a little much, she disappears for a moment… only to come right back out for another round of compliments.
Golden Retriever proudly models her new bathrobe around the house
The clip opens with Livvy padding into the living room while dad is working on his computer and mom is ready with her camera. Wrapped in her pink striped robe, she looks both thrilled and shy at the same time. When mom excitedly asks, “Is that your new bathrobe?” Livvy walks right over before doing a slow little turn, almost like she wants everyone to admire it from every angle.
The attention seems to make her blush, at least in dog terms. So, she wanders into the bedroom for a moment, only to reappear seconds later, still carrying her collar and still wearing the same shy expression. Mom laughs as the Golden Retriever models her favorite robe all over again, asking if she likes her new outfit. Livvy comes all the way to her mom and then trots off for another lap around the house.
Eventually, she heads over to dad, tail wagging the whole time, collecting a few well-earned head scratches before showing off one more pose. Mom asks if this is what she plans to wear to the pool, and Livvy just wags in agreement.
The sweet Golden Retriever and her new robe quickly won over the internet, with the video racking up more than 143,000 likes in less than a day. Viewers called it a full-on fashion show, with one laughing that it looked exactly like “when your mom takes you shopping for clothes, and now you gotta do a fashion show for dad.” Another simply wrote, “She’s feeling bonita.” True that.
