Bath time in this household apparently comes with a furry quality-control manager now. Posted by @talesoftoffee1 on Instagram, this clip is about a Golden Retriever who has appointed herself head of the toddler’s evening routine. She even refuses to leave until every job is done.
The baby may be the one splashing in the tub, but Toffee acts like she’s personally responsible for making sure the whole operation runs on schedule. Nobody gives her instructions. She doesn’t seem to need any.
Golden Retriever helps mom in giving toddler a bath
The video opens with Toffee already sitting beside the bathtub, watching over the scene while the little one enjoys a bubbly bath. The on-screen text jokes, “Nobody asked Toffee to run the bedtime bath. She’s doing it anyway.” Going by the confidence on her face, she has it all under control.
Without any prompting, Toffee walks over to the basket of bath toys and carefully picks out a blue rubber duck. Their mom happily accepts the delivery from the Golden Retriever before handing it over to the toddler. One successful task down, and Toffee is already moving on to the next.
The helpful pup soon returns carrying the baby shampoo, followed by a towel she drags across the floor. Next comes a diaper, carefully pulled from the pack, then a tube of moisturizer for the bedtime routine. Every item arrives right when it’s needed, ticking off all items from the checklist.
By the end of the routine, the little one is clean, dressed in pajamas, and getting hair and teeth brushed before bed. Toffee finally sits down with a satisfied grin, looking every bit like someone who’s finished a full shift.
The closing caption sums it up perfectly: “Baby is bathed. Baby is in bed. She’s finally off the clock.” The sweet clip has already collected hundreds of likes, with viewers completely charmed by Toffee’s dedication. One person even called her a “superstar.”
