Golden Retriever clings to human, greets her with warm hugs when she returns home
A heart-melting video on Instagram showcased a cute Golden Retriever dog named Maverick, aka Mav, clinging to his human parent and greeting her with warm hugs when she returned home from her trip. The video has captured the hearts of many on the internet as people are in love with the fur baby’s heart-touching reaction to his mom’s return. In the caption, the pet parent emotionally wrote, “NEVER AGAIN (emoji). She continued, “As many of you know Mav is my service dog and he didn’t come on this trip with us.”
The dog owner then explained, “With the heatwave in Europe and how much moving around/walking we were going, it wasn’t fair to ask him to work in those conditions.” She also wrote, “I had to think about his physical and mental wellbeing too, but I missed him more than anything.”
The Instagram video began by giving a closer look at the Golden Retriever dog, Maverick, and her human parent. The two were hugging right in front of their house door. In the meantime, the text written over the clip read, “My dog and I reunited after 3 weeks apart and he was overly emotional.”
