2-Year-Old Dog Abandoned at Day Care Needs Urgent Foster Care

A few seconds of security footage are all it takes to break a million hearts. In a post shared by @bellesbudsrescue, an English Bulldog is practically pushed inside a doggy daycare. Then he’s left behind before he even has a chance to understand what’s happening. The video of this dog, who now needs an urgent foster, has already been watched millions of times. His story begins with confusion, but kind people are doing everything they can to make sure it doesn’t end there. Right now, all this sweet two-year-old needs is a safe place to land while a rescue works to change the rest of his life.

Dog abandoned by previous owner at day care needs a loving foster home

The security footage shows the reception area of a doggy day care. Suddenly, a man rushes through the front door, pushes the bulldog inside with his leash, turns around, and leaves just as quickly. The little dog stands there looking around the room, almost waiting for someone to come back through the door.

The next shots are thankfully much gentler. A photo shows him riding quietly in the passenger seat of a car, followed by another of him fast asleep on a rug in his temporary foster home. Soon after, he’s curled up beside other dogs, and it’s clear he enjoys having company. According to the rescue, he’s friendly with other dogs and appears healthy. They’re covering all of his veterinary expenses and are urgently looking for someone to foster him.

The post has already collected more than 67,000 likes in less than a day. One local viewer shared that they were already a Bulldog owner in Houston and had submitted a foster application. Plenty of others admitted the opening video was difficult to watch, while many said they were simply relieved the dog had been left somewhere safe rather than abandoned in a far worse place.

For now, the rescue hopes one caring foster home will be the next stop on his journey — and, with any luck, the first real step toward the happy ending he deserves.
