Rescue Dog Might Be Tiny, but Her Heart Is Big Enough To Win Over Human

Fostering a dog is never easy. From giving them unconditional love to rebuilding their confidence, a parent has to do everything. While some pups are easy to train, some take time to open up and trust their human companion due to their past trauma. Even this mom was all set to foster a dog, but she instantly fell in love with the rescue dog. The clip has so far garnered more than 12K likes at the time of writing.

Foster parents instantly fall in love after seeing rescue dog

This video of a rescue dog will surely leave you teary-eyed as the clip on @carlabezanson shows a tiny pup meeting the foster parent who instantly falls in love with her. The clip shows pet parent Carla Bezanson going up to meet her foster dog, who was a “rescue from a k!ll shelter.” The tiny pup looked scared when handed over to a new human, leaving Bezanson crying.

The pet mom even offered the pooch food and water, but she still looked scared. Bezanson even tried to comfort the rescue by petting her, but the foster dog still looked frightened, as if unsure what was happening to her. Looking at the pup’s reaction, the foster mom confesses in the car that the pooch is “so scared and tiny and smelly and so underweight,” leaving her more emotional.

At all times, the pooch did not once relax. Even at home, the pup stood in one corner and preferred to stay in a crate while avoiding playing with the other furry sibling. However, it seems the pup gradually developed trust, as the pooch was later seen cuddling with Bezanson while falling asleep on the couch. “Taking name suggestions,” asked mom in the caption. And soon after, netizens came up with a few names.

“Name her Lexapro (Lexi for short), because she’s more of a serotonin boost than anything. What a sweet little baby,” suggested one person. Another individual mentioned, “I’m loving this journey – can’t wait to see Mila blossom.” A third added, “My vote for a name is Pepper.” While another dog lover commented, “With her colouring she looks like a Cookie haha.”
