Dogs genuinely have no concept of their own size, especially when they grow up alongside a patient older sibling. Over on the Gold Coast, an adorable account called @kobetherottie__ shows what happens when a tiny pup grows into a giant cuddlebug.
Charlie, a very patient Golden Retriever, welcomed a brand new little puppy named Kobe into the family home sometime back. The family filmed their very first introduction on the couch, and things just escalated from there. Now, the two boys are absolute best friends who do everything together around the house.

The video kicks off with a throwback shot of dad holding a tiny baby Rottweiler on his lap while the older dog investigates. Right away, mischief begins, as we see in the next shot, the baby trying to climb all over his big brother. He stands up on his hind legs, putting his paws on top of the older dog’s head. He licks ears, sniffs his neck, and eventually flops down right against his belly for a quick nap. Rottweilers are very loyal dogs, so he quickly attaches himself to his patient housemate.
Then the video cuts to the funniest part. Kobe grows up, but he still thinks he is a little puppy who can squash a Golden Retriever. He literally plops his giant backside right onto his sibling’s head while they are just existing on the floor.
In another corner of the house, the oversized lap dog is perched directly on the Retriever’s back. He clearly has no clue that he weighs a lot more than he used to. They also spend plenty of time chilling out on the sunny patio. The older dog claims the comfy lounge chair, while the giant junior sits obediently on the floor.
