The video begins with the puppy staring at the camera and “talking” to her owner, as if laying out the terms and conditions before they play hide and seek. Then the disappearing act begins as she shoves her face behind a pillow, pressing her head deep into the cushion while her whole fluffy body remains in plain sight on the couch.
A few seconds later, she peeks out to check if anyone noticed her absence and catches her owner’s eye. And then she immediately buries her face again, digging into the sofa, before switching spots and scurrying to the opposite end of the couch to do the very same thing. Mochi hides, reemerges, barks in her raspy squeak, and then hides again.
