Boojeaux, an English Cream Golden Retriever, featured in a sweet Instagram video from @dojeauxcreamgoldens, and all he could do was prove how obsessed he is with his baby chicks. The video begins with Boojeaux whining with his plush toy in his mouth, as if he is in the middle of a crisis.
The crisis, as it turns out, is really adorable, because all that the dog wants is his “babies.” His mom understands the need and asks him, “Is it baby time?” and finally shrieks, “It’s baby time!”

As soon as the Golden Retriever meets his baby chicks, his whining stops, and he transforms into a giant nanny who lies perfectly still on the floor while the tiny birds hop around his paws and even climb onto his legs. One look and you can tell he is happy with the chicks.
Golden Retrievers have incredible control over their jaw muscles and an instinctual drive to be careful with fragile creatures, thanks to their “soft mouth.” So, meeting the chicks may have satisfied Boojeaux’s inherent urge to protect and nurture them.
Viewers loved the dog’s obvious devotion toward his “babies.” One of them noted that if reincarnation is real, they hope their “final form is Boojeaux with baby time,” and another commenter called him a “true Bird Dog.” Meanwhile, others praised his patience, with one person remarking that he has “such a beautiful soul.” One fan even joked, “‘Shut up, my favourite show is on’?.”
The caption under the video asks, “Is there anything more precious than an unlikely friendship?” and looking at the way Boojeaux seems to relax the second he meets his tiny friends, it is hard to argue otherwise.
