About two weeks, that is all it took for this rescue pup to flip her foster mom’s world before getting adopted and walking into a new life. Ricky from @rickylovesrescues just shared the update most of her followers were waiting for — Flora is officially adopted.
This little girl came from a big rescue situation in Philly with over 30 other dogs. Ricky says she brought a “whirlwind” of energy and those famous, “internet-breaking” ears into the house. It was a slightly chaotic but beautiful sprint to her forever home.

The video starts with Flora sitting on a bed, looking like a total angel, and Ricky starts narrating her story. Two weeks ago, she was just a face in a message asking for help.
Now, she is exploring the yard with her foster mom and walking straight up to the camera lens bravely. Philly Rescue Angels found her in a crowded home, but this rescue pup settled into foster life like a pro.
We watch in awe as she spends her time learning to sit for rewards, among other things. This kind of resilience is typical for a rescue dog. They just want a safe spot to truly thrive. But life with a puppy is always a bit of a mess.
Flora even spent a week with a friend while her foster mom was sick. Apparently, she smelled a bit like a farm animal back then, but those floppy ears kept everyone smiling.
The video shows the rescue pup spending her days snuggling with her foster mom or playing with her foster brother, Theo. He had a lot to teach her about being a good girl. So, it was a busy fourteen days of training and naps. Then, the nicest thing happened when the right application finally landed.
“Flora is ADOPTED!,” Ricky announced on Monday. In the caption, she mentions that Flora’s new parents stood out because they want to do frisbee and agility training. They have big plans for this girl.
