Pranks are a way of life for the Moriarty family. They are constantly testing how their famous crew handles new and somewhat weird situations. This time, dad decided to drop a remote-controlled fake alligator into the swimming pool to see what would happen. The entire dog pack had a spot right at the edge of the water. Maverick and Bauer are the Golden Retriever brothers. Blue and Titan are the Husky duo. Their Instagram handle @imbluethesiberian shared the video, and it is already going viral with over half a million likes.
Owner captures dog pack’s reaction to fake alligator
Maverick is the first one out, and he is immediately suspicious. He stares at the swimming head with deep concern. Goldens are known for being incredibly friendly and eager to please, but Maverick is not looking to make a new friend today. He barks at the water and backs away toward mom for safety.
Blue is next, and he tries to investigate with a few sniffs at the edge. He decides very quickly that he is not a fan, and so he just goes and sits by the door. He wants nothing to do with this random situation unfolding in his backyard.
Titan is also pretty skeptical of the whole situation. He looks at dad to see if this is a real thing. He lets out a classic vocal awoo before deciding to sit at a safe distance. Then Bauer comes flying into the frame. As expected, he doesn’t show any fear at all. He actually seems offended that something is in his pool. He follows the fake alligator around the edge before launching himself into the water.
This dog pack member is on a mission to end the threat immediately. Bauer grabs the plastic toy in his mouth and swims it straight to the shallow end. He runs onto the grass with the prize while dad tries to catch him. But it is too late.
Bauer completely destroys the head within seconds. One viewer joked that Bauer’s DNA probably consists of some shark. Another person mentioned that they are definitely safe as long as this dog pack member is around. Bauer was ready for a fight, and he did not disappoint the fans watching the fake alligator meet its end.
