It is kind of a known fact that you don’t choose your dog’s number one person; they just decide on their own. Over at @louiegordox, it is very clear who won the lottery with this Shih Tzu puppy named Louie. He was born back in November 2025. And he already has a very specific bond with his human sister, Lizzy.
This dog is currently having a total meltdown because his favorite human is being dropped off at her dad’s house. He is standing at the car window, and he is not handling the separation well.
Dog is not ready to let ‘favorite human’ go
The clip starts with Nelli filming from the driver’s seat. Lizzy is outside the car, trying to say her goodbyes. The girl tells him she loves him, but Louie is just whining so loudly. He is stretched tall on his tippy toes so that he can say goodbye back properly. He doesn’t want to let her out of his sight or touch.
Lizzy looks deep into his eyes and says, “I know, honey.” She even puts her forehead against his through the open window. Her mom says in the caption that they are each other’s emotional support. And you can really see that here.
Mom tells them they will see each other tonight. But that doesn’t seem to help much. Lizzy keeps backing away and says, “Shh, I have to go.” Then she blows him a kiss from the middle of the pathway, but in response, Louie just whimpers. He doesn’t even look at his mom when she tells him it’s time to go home. The little dog is totally fixated on the front door.
One viewer commented that these two are definitely a package deal. “Shih Tzu’s definitely have their person,” another person noted. It is so clear that he has found his. Lizzy blows one last kiss from the porch. That’s when Louie lets out a protest bark.

Another person joked that Lizzy gave Louis a hundred goodbyes and just one small one for her mom. He eventually sits back and looks ahead with a very sad face. You can tell he is already ready for the happy reunion.
