But this Golden Retriever, Indigo, does something unusual when he tastes bananas for the first time, as per the video on @cheekynuggi.
The reel shows the “red golden retriever that looks like a chicken nugget” sitting with his paw parents after tasting the fruit. However, instead of eating it all or spitting it out, the pup holds the banana in his mouth for 20 minutes, prompting the dad to ask, “How long are you going to keep that in there for?” The dad checks his mouth again and confirms the banana is still in it.
His act leaves the dad amused, who once again questions whether the pooch is “cool with that.” Despite the questions, Indigo remains calm and does not let go of the banana. He just holds it in his mouth. “His first time trying a banana, this reaction confused all of us,” confessed the parent in the caption.
