This video shows what happens when a Golden Retriever hears the words, “scrambled eggs.” Nova is “just a baby,” and she is standing perfectly still in the kitchen. She is watching every move her mom makes, who is talking to her wait before eating her food because it is too hot. However, she is not really interested in the cooling process. She just wants her breakfast already.
Golden Retriever can’t wait to eat her scrambled eggs
The pet parent is just explaining that the food is way too hot, and it has to cool down. The retriever hears the word scrambled eggs and that is when the tippy taps start. Her little paws just hit the floor in a fast rhythm. It is such a Golden Retriever thing to do when they are excited. “She would trade me for an egg,” her owner said in the caption. It is hard to argue with that when you see her face.
Then the head tilt happens. Mom says the eggs will burn her little mouth. Nova looks like she doesn’t believe a word of it, as she just wants her snack. The dog eventually gets so annoyed with the wait that she just walks out of the kitchen. “Okay, bye,” mom laughs. But she isn’t really leaving, and is just going to the other side of the table.
The camera finds her on the other side, looking around. The on-screen text jokes, “where da heck are the eggs?” in Nova’s POV. Mom asks what she is doing over there. The dog just moves her ears back. Sure, she’ll thank Mom later, but she is trying to understand the hold-up.
