Comet is a Michigan girl with a reputation as a bit of a toilet paper thief, but she is also one of the most vocal pups on the internet. In a recent video over at @peachycomet22, the Golden Retriever is chilling on the living room floor when her mom starts a very important conversation involving her grandma. It actually starts with Comet letting out a tiny burp. One viewer joked that even her “windy pops” are cute. But things get serious once the car ride talk begins.

Mom asks if she wants to go on a car ride, and Comet does this hilarious “yes,” tilting her head back and vocalizing to the ceiling. One of her ears is flipped inside out. And she is just all-in on the plan. This breed of Golden Retriever is known for being obsessed with its favorite people. So when mom mentions they are going today, Comet is listening with her whole body. She is just waiting for the final detail of the trip.
Then comes the specific word. We see in the video that mom just says, “Grandma,” no other context, just the name, and the talkative Golden Retriever absolutely loses it. She starts lifting her front paws off the ground and dropping them back down. She even does a little bow. It is like she is trying to pack her bags through dance.
She wants to see her grandma so badly she can’t stay still. It tracks, honestly. In a past video, she practically told her mom, “I love you,” so she is definitely a big fan of her family. People are obsessed with how much she “talks” back.
