Living in a house with three energetic Siberian Huskies would usually mean constant movement and plenty of fur. But over at @stef.orsello, a tiny toddler in a pink jumpsuit decided to slow things down for a “kissing tour.” This sweet video shows her wandering through the living room to share some love with her favorite fluffy giants. While a typical dog might just sit there, her second target had a much more active response planned.
Husky licks toddler’s face when she walks towards him
When this popular video opens, the little girl starts by hugging the first pup. She leans in for a massive, sincere smooch on their back. That canine friend just wags their tail, clearly soaking up the affection from their toddler sibling. After that success, the girl turns her attention toward the next silver-furred family member across the room. She seems determined to make sure no one feels left out of the snuggles.
As she walks around the back of the second Husky, she actually gets “fairy dusted” by a happy tail in this video. The parents truly didn’t expect what happened when the toddler finally reached her destination. Just as she leans forward to plant a kiss, the dog beats her to the punch with a lick. It was a total surprise that caught her completely off balance.
This surprise return fire is a classic trait for the breed, as they are famously social and affectionate. The girl is so taken aback by the slobbery greeting that she actually has to step sideways. She recovers quickly, flashing a huge, loved-up smile at her mom, who is filming the whole encounter. Her face glows with the kind of joy only a pet can provide.
The entire Instagram feed for this family is absolutely packed with these emotional moments between the fluffy pack and their little sibling. As her mom noted in the caption, “We don’t deserve dogs” and their pure, unfiltered hearts. These animals evidently value their baby human more than anything else in the house.
