Dog Tries To Escape Dressing up for Snow but Fails

An Italian Greyhound named Cannoli does everything to dodge her winter outfit. The Dog dressing up video captures her realizing the plan, balking, and then getting scooped up.

Her owners zip a puffy blue suit and prep a leash for a snowy Stamford walk. It plays like a dog outfit clip because Cannoli side-eyes the camera, tries to slink away, and still ends up bundled for the cold with comic resignation. “The Blue Danube” by Johann Strauss II plays in the background, representing the melodramatic behaviour of the Italian greyhound.

Owner dresses up dog for a snowy day in cute video

The dog dressing up video was posted recently by @theitaliangreyhoundcannoli. It features Cannoli, a five-year-old Italian Greyhound in Stamford, Connecticut. The caption reads, “Dressing our Italian Greyhound for cold 101.” On-screen text drives the story: “Realizing she is about to get dressed for the snow,” then “Immediately aborting mission,” and “Airlifted back to the scene.” The clip ends with “Walk of shame,” as Cannoli heads out in her suit.

Italian Greyhounds are tiny sighthounds with thin skin and very short coats. They feel cold fast, so owners often use sweaters and full snowsuits. Cannoli’s dramatic protests are common for the breed. Low body fat and long legs make winter rough, and booties help protect sensitive paws. The account even tags @pikapika_pet, hinting where the cozy gear came from.

The reel shows the beats clearly. Cannoli freezes when the hood appears, then tries to exit the frame. A gentle lift “airlifts” her back for a quick zip. Only her bright eyes peek from the blue puff as the leash clips on. She sinks into the suit like a burrito, then shuffles forward. The final walk looks slow, stubborn, and very warm.

Reactions leaned playful and adoring. One viewer teased, “ready for the catwalk.” Another worried, “no boots for those paws?” Others joked she’s “alpaca-shaped,” cheered, “diva, you slay,” and fretted about “cold little feets” again.
