Winter usually brings out the playful side of pets, but for some, it becomes one giant buffet. Woody, an English Bulldog, found a frozen feast right on his own balcony. His owner captured the entire suspicious snack session on camera and shared it on @thatbulldogwoody. Woody appeared to decide that snow was not for playing, prancing, or posing. Instead, he treated it as something to eat. He did not do so delicately. This turned into a full-mouth situation with no hesitation. As his owner approached the open balcony door, it became clear that she was about to witness a small dog making a big decision.
Dog pays no attention to owner’s requests while out in the snow
When the clip opens, Woody is already outside and happily chomping on snow piled on a cover. To him, it was not just the weather. It looked more like a tray of crunchy water served at the perfect temperature. When his owner says hello, he freezes mid-bite and slowly turns to look at her, with snow still very much involved. She gently explains that he is “supposed to play with it, not eat it,” which sounds reasonable under most circumstances.
For a brief moment, Woody appears to process the information. He swallows what is already in his mouth, locks eyes with the camera, and stares as if weighing his options. Then, without hesitation, he resumes eating. He takes bigger bites and crunches even louder, showing no sign of stopping. Bulldogs are often known for committing fully to their choices, and once they decide on something, they rarely change course.
The caption on the video reads, “wait for it,” which fits the moment. The clip builds to Woody deciding that the snow snack is temporary and must be enjoyed immediately. Viewers responded in large numbers, with comments describing it as “just a little snack” and noting that Bulldogs often do exactly what they want.
With more than 5,000 likes, the response is clear. Woody was not reacting to commands. He was focused entirely on the moment and appeared fully content with his choice.
