Video: Bully Is ‘Obsessed’ With Sleeping Under the Covers

Sharing a home with a dog often means adjusting to their version of “normal.” Maybe that means losing your seat the second you stand up or pretending you didn’t notice them dragging all the blankets to their preferred corner. Most owners eventually learn it’s easier to give in than negotiate with a determined dog. That reality became hilariously clear in a new video by @gooseythepotcake, where one American Bully makes it obvious that bedtime doesn’t officially begin until she’s tucked under the covers.

Bully is ‘just a girl that loves to be cozy’ in video

The video begins with Hershey, an American Bully, sitting on her owner’s bed, looking sleepy and noticeably relaxed. Text on the screen reads, “My dog is obsessed with sleeping under the covers.” When her mom asks what she’s doing and whether she’s sleepy, Hershey looks up with slow blinks and soft, tired eyes, almost as if she’s too comfortable to respond.

But the moment her owner asks whether she wants to go under the blankets, Hershey perks up instantly. Her ears lift, her expression shifts, and she seems to give an enthusiastic silent “yes.” Her mom gently lifts the blanket and helps guide the pup underneath, giving her the exact cozy space she’s been waiting for.

Once settled, Hershey appears content, tucked into what looks like her preferred nightly den. Eventually, the lights are switched off so she can drift off peacefully. In the caption, her owner writes that Hershey is “just a girl that loves to be cozy.”

The comments section quickly filled with relatable stories from other dog parents. Many shared that their own pets have similar habits, especially bully breeds. One viewer wrote, “This has to be a pittie thing because mine does the same.” Another added, “It’s like a wolf getting comfortable in his den.” One commenter mentioned, “My Bostie does the same. He only resurfaces when he overheats.” Others praised the gentle care shown in the video, including someone who said, “I wish every animal would get treated like this.”
