Video: Dobermans React Differently To Fake Dog Planted by Owner

In some homes, family bonding looks like board games. In @suavexavier_’s, it looks more like chaos — the playful, prank-filled kind that even the dogs are part of. Dobermans Knox, Bear, and Junior might all share the same roof, but their personalities couldn’t be more different. So when their dad decided to plant a fake dog in the middle of the living room to see what each would do, the results were pure gold. This video is basically a study in canine psychology disguised as comedy — and good luck picking a favorite reaction.

Owner proves Dobermans have ‘different personalities’ using fake dog in video

This ridiculously funny and highly viral video of three Dobermans reacting to a fake dog has over 374K likes. It checks because the setup alone deserves an award. Their dad carefully places a soft bed on the floor, sets up a small fence around it, and then pulls out a life-size stuffed dog that looks suspiciously like one of his own. Once it’s in position, the stage is set, and the stars are ready for their cue.

Knox is the first on the scene, tail wagging but cautious. He circles the fake dog like a detective, gives it a good sniff, then pauses — the realization dawning that something’s off. One suspicious glance toward the camera later, he’s out. “Knew u was fake,” his expression might as well say.

Next up, Junior — sweet yet skeptical — takes two steps in, sniffs once, and immediately backs away like, “Nope, not today.” The onscreen caption even jokes that he’s calling for help from “Uncle Bear.”

And finally, Bear storms in like a wrecking ball, toppling the fake dog and going straight for the neck. Their dad can’t stop laughing as he tries to rescue the fake dog. “Bear, it’s fake, baby,” he calls out, still cracking up.

The internet couldn’t stop laughing. “Bear said I’m the only black dog in this family,” one person joked. Another wrote, “Bear should go to anger management therapy.” Someone else added, “Junior is Gen Z, Knox is Millennial, and Bear is Gen X.”
